Tried on a stunning dress, but it was arguably the weirdest bridal gown experience EVER. They made me secure the appointment with a credit card number (said they would have charged me a fee if I was a no-show), the dresses didn’t have any tags or style numbers, no photos allowed, and they don’t order; it’s in stock only. The sales woman would have told me whatever she thought I wanted to hear, and not in a good way! She was selling harder than a used car salesman in a bad toupee. So the dress I loved is literally the only one in the store, and I have no idea what dress it is! I wanted to check online to make sure that they are not screwing people by charging a designer price for a knock-off gown, but I can’t find the dress anywhere!
What I have managed to find is a knock-off, link: http://www.weddingdressus.com/Wedding-Dress/Destination-Wedding-Dresses/3720.html. The difference between the knock-off and the orginal is that the dress I tried on is platinum colored taffeta (an oyster/silver color), has delicate pick-ups and an asymmetrical peek-a-boo panel of beaded tulle in the front of the skirt, the top has a little more ruching, and it has beading that covers the bottom layer of the train. The ruffles in the back are the same style. Any leads on who the original designer is?
