My neices are twins and their names are Kaylie Marie & Taylor Morgan (identical girls) and my sisters are twins and their names are Sara Marie & Tffany Ann (fraternal girls). I also have cousins that are twins and their names are Nina & Neil (boy and girl).

I like Zara and Alexandrea. And maybe Alexandrea could be nicknamed Zandrea. Zara & Zandrea. I think that sounds cute. =)

Make sure you let us know what you choose!! Congratulations on your twins! Twins are soooo much fun!

I just had twins 11 weeks ago! I would avoid rhyming or same initials.

    I love Zara and Katherine.

I like the idea of twin girl names that are an A and a Z (like from A to Z), so since you already mentioned Zara as a favorite I like the sound of Adriana and Zara best.

You should be making sure the first and middle name of each individual child sounds good as a pair. When deciding on one kid’s name, ignore the other’s. The child should have a name that flows with the rest of his/her name, not one that flows with their sibling’s name.

I am definitely a fan of non matchy names for twins. I have twin boys named Peter and Nathaniel (Pete and Nate).

    Other twins we know

    Abby/Avery

    Jack/Jonah

    Emily/Liam

    Maggie/Levon

    Nathan/Owen

I have identical twin sisters and I am 2 years older. Growing up was interesting because we resembled triplets being so close in age. The one saving grace was that my mother gave us all individual, normal names. We were born in the 70’s so our names are similar to “Jennifer, Lisa, Michelle” or “Dena, Jessica, Heather”. My sisters have the same simple middle name “Lynn”.

    I like Catherine*

zombeee :  Twin bee here. Two things. 1) Avoid overly matchy sounding names and 2) make sure both names have the same level of unique/classic. Zara and Catherine are too different. If I was Catherine I’d be jealous of the edgier name. Zara and Anastasia is my vote

zombeee :  I love Zara and Emilia. You could call Emilia Mila as a nickname which is super cute too. Nice choices don’t think you can go wrong really except yes I would probbaly avoid Zara and Chiara
