Henry, my Ex’s middle name was the spanish form, Enrique. Such a shame, loved that name.

@AllShookUp:  How about the name Declan (pronounced DECK-lan)? It means “full of goodness.” Sounds a lot like Decker and has a pretty great meaning behind it!

@ScarletandFox: I think the name Lillith is pretty too (like Lily but more unique) but there’s a demon in the show Supernatural with that name. So yeah, demonic associations for me too.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I loved the name Anja (pronounced Onn-ya).  My SIL said that when she’s in hij school, her boyfriend’s friends will be like “so, did you get Anja on ya?” and that RUINED it for me!!

just thought of another one, I kind of really secretly want to call a future daughter Hermione, because she is just the most fantastic character ever.. but… everyone would just be like “wow you really like Harry potter huh”. and yeah i do but… I couldn’t do that to a kid!

the funny thing is JK Rowling apparently picked Hermione’s name because she wanted something uncommon so that girls with the same name wouldn’t be teased! clearly she didnt care about boys called Harry, Ron or Neville though!

@bijou214:  A friend of mine has that name and we totally call her Sexy Lexi. What can I say? She is a sexy lady! 😉 Oh and she is NOT a stripper… She’s a doctor!! So tell that to your DH!

@Mrs. Coyote:  Haha, I tried that argument saying “what abut Lexi Grey? She’s a doctor!!” and he said I just lost more credibility because I was referencing Grey’s Anatomy. =/

I LOVED Aiden. But now everyone’s naming their boys Aiden. I know of, despite the spelling variations, over five children in the past few years that friends gave dubbed “Aiden/Aeden/Ayden.” Etc.
