I always thought about it and had favorites in mind, but we always knew with certainty on the way home from the “gender” ultrasound.

Well, I’m not anywhere near the kids point in my life but I’ve always had a weird obsession with names. So I’m pretty sure I already know what all my kids’ names will be already, haha. I know a lot of people who picked a few favorites and then waited to see their child to narrow it down to one though.

I alway knew I would name my first baby girl Savannah….I saw a movie called Savannah Smiles when I was about 10 years old and loved the name.  My Ex never really had a say in it at all…but he liked the name so it was ok.

Well With our first we waited until after the ultra sound but with the 2nd we had a boy and girl name picked out before the ultra sound.

Now if we have any more we already have a girl and boy name picked out and we will not even be having another one for a few years 🙂

i like the idea of waiting to see the baby – our only niece was suppose to be stephanie (which i never liked) and i got to the hospital and i was handed a rebecca (which suits her personality perfectly). same with a couple of my nephews, in fact nephew #3 didnt have a name for almost a week

We have already decided on 4 girls names and 4 boys names, and the order we will use them in. And we are still 3 years away from TTC!

We are in the middle of that debate right now, at 24 weeks.  My husband is ready to choose one, but I like different names on a daily basis.  We have a handful that we will choose from, but I don’t feel like I know this little guy enough yet to decide.

What made me feel better is that my SIL felt the same way around this time with hers, and my husband was joking around with one of his co-workers whose wife felt the same way too.  It just seems like such a big decision that I can’t just choose yet.

My solution is bribery- I will agree to narrow down a couple more names if he’ll pay for another 3D/4D ultrasound 😉  And even then I still may not know until we see him in January!

When I got pregnant we figured out a boy and girl name, so when we learned the gender we already knew what the name would be.

The plus side to that is we got tons of personalized stuff. And since her name is Rose, we got tons of things with roses on it. I won’t lie, I was a little worried the name wouldn’t suit her, but one of the first things I said when she came out was that she looks like a Rose 🙂

We had a baby girls name picked out right away but fought over a boy names until we found out we were having a boy. I didn’t really like the name that my husband picked and he refused to like any of the list (of about 25 names) that I had made. Eventually around the 7 month mark I started calling him the name my husband had given him, just so he wasn’t the “little boy inside of me” and when he was born I couldn’t have any other name for him but that. It was like it was meant for him.

I hope its not that complicated when we get pregnant with our second if its another boy lol

my husband already has a girls name that he is set on, but we dont really have a boys name yet… I guess we’ll decide as we get closer to the birth, but we will definitely have a name before the birth

I don’t think we’ll really start talking about names until after finding out the gender. But I also don’t think we’ll 100% choose anything until we see the baby. I feel like it is such a big deal, I’ll be worried we’ll screw it up and the kid will hate his name forever.

Well now that I am pregnant, we are realizing that naming is a lot harder than we thought it would be!  We plan on finding out the gender and then going into delivery with 2 or 3 names picked out. We will give our little one the name as soon as we actually see him or her.

I’m sure we’ll have a boy and girl name choosen before we find out the gender (I already have a couple ideas for each and we aren’t even TTC).  So our baby will likely have a name as soon as we find out the gender.
