Nope, not worth it.  Most people would pitch them eventually.

My mom really wanted to get them, however I thought along the lines of your moh. In the end we didn’t get them, and honestly I’m glad my mom didn’t waste her money on them, because really the majority of them would have ended up in the trash.

I think they are inexpensive and a nice touch but I wouldn’t say they are a keepsake.

I would never keep a napkin as a keepsake, thats something I might notice for about 3 seconds.

I’m with PPs…. personalized napkins are not necessary at all. You might keep one yourself as a keepsake, but I can tell you that even if other people take them with them, very few of them will keep them for long.

In general, I think that personalized things like this get thrown out a lot… I’ve taken the napkins, the matchbooks, etc, but in the end I always throw them away.

You would be better off investing the extra money into a keepsake that is just for you and Fiance to keep.

Are they worth it? I think it depends on the price. If you don’t need to order many and you have very few personalized details at your wedding, the small cost could be worth it.

What about placing a personalized item next to the stack of napkins? That way, the guests will notice the details you’ve added as they get their drinks.

If it makes you feel good and its in the budget, do it.

There was a great sale on The Knot a while back and I bought square and rectangle personalized napkins. Their price was hardly more than regular cocktail napkins so I found it worth every penny to have an added persoinal touch.  I had one bulk left over and I love them.

It wouldn’t be worth it for us… but if it’s important for you, go for it.  We’re on a tight budget, so whenever I think about buying something, I think about how else I could spend the money.  If it’s something I can’t live without, I go for it, but if I can come up with a better use of funds, I keep my wallet closed.  😉

Again I notice these things and think they are cute ways to personalize the wedding and inexpensive but I wouldn’t keep it.

I wouldn’t get customized napkins. They remind me too much of prom or something. I’d keep an invitation but not a napkin, so they seem like a bit of a waste

Personally I wouldn’t keep a coozie either. But then we don’t really use them and it would just be another thing to store.

I think the best favors are consumables (either things you can eat or use up – like candles).
