I have always wanted a poofy gown for my wedding, and I love #2 because its poofy without being super heavy and hot. #1 was the first dress I tried on and something I never thought I would like. I liked it in the store but it wasnt one of my favorites. Going back and looking through the pictures I saw that dress and I was like hmmm I like that one a lot. I kept looking at it day after day and it has kept growing on me. So now I am just kind of confused. I am leaning toward #2 because it leaves plenty of room in the budget for alterations while #1 is at the top of my budget.

They both look great on you, but they’re very different dresses. Which one reflects your personal style more?

You look incredible in #1! Plus, it’s so timeless and streamlined. I kinda feel like all the business, asymmetrical poof on #2 adds bulk to your figure.

Then, megz03030, number two it is, dear. You love it, it is what you’ve always wanted, it fits your price range, and it makes you happy, right? So the only problem is number one looks stunning on you and causes doubt. Erase that doubt and remember what about the second one makes you happy. Buying a dress that you can’t alter and that you are more or less simply curious about is no reason to dismiss the one you love. And if you are still confussled, maybe find a second hand dress that resembles the first one and wear it as your reception dress or do a “trash the dress” session in it. Having two dresses (within your budget) is a pretty common thing to do now days, so if you can that’s what I suggest.
Have we helped you any, dear?

@MsGigi: Yes everyone has been a great help. My mom is coming up sometime to see me in #1 since she wasnt with me when I tried it on. Maybe that will help me more too since I kind of dismissed it quickly and have tried on a lot of dresses since then.

Number 2 fits your body type- I say #2

I’m all about #1! It somehow manages to combine “modern” with “fairy princess.” Gorge!

#1 and I agree that I would add a sweetheart neckline. Also, once you get it tailored, the waist will be a little tighter and will help define your waist more (like the 2nd one does).
#1 is classically stunning!!
They both look great on you though :o)

THey are both lovely but my vote is for 2. I think it accentuates your waist more.. It is beautiful!

I love them both, and either pick would be a great choice. But, I think I prefer the second dress a little more. Like others said, it defines your waist more. Let us know what you decide. =o)

Choose number one! Not only is it gorgeous, it’s classic and timeless as well. Trust me, you’ll never look on a dress like that and think what the heck was I thinking?

I just bought Mori Lee 2909 too! It just came in yesterday and I’m going to try it on this Thursday :).

@megz03030: I LOVE #1 for the shape, the lace and the color. i think #2 is also a beautiful choice but the lace and line of dress 1 won me over.
Good Luck with your choice!

i didn’t vote because i honestly think the color of the first one is amazing on your skin tone! but the second one looks great on your body!
you have a beautiful shape! don’t get me wrong! but number two just shows it off more.
if you could find number 2 in champagne, i think it’d be the best of both worlds!

That is a difficult choice. No wonder you ran a poll =)
I picked the A because it flattered your figure more and you looked so elegant in it
