I need help. I use to dream of being a wedding planner, so I have at least a good 4,000 pictures. A lot of them I have been able to weed out because they don’t match our theme at all, but then there are a bunch that match our theme and I can’t decide.
I guess what I am asking is, how do you narrow down the choices? I’ve made myself stop looking at Pinterest and a bunch of other wedding blogs because it just makes me second guess and pick more pictures that I like. But when you have lots of pictures how do you decide? (Mainly talking about centerpieces).

When I find something that I really like, I stop searching that particular category, whether it’s centerpieces, guestbook ideas, ceremony decor, etc. So I kind of mentally tell myself that’s good and focus on something else!

I had collected a lot of centerpiece images (though not nearly as many as you). First I sorted through them at a glance. I was able to weed out a lot of options because they didn’t speak to me at a quick glance. Second, I looked through the images that made the first cut to identify any patterns in the images that I really liked. That helped me weed out those that made the first cut, but didn’t fit the look and feel I was really drawn to. Then I showed the images to Mr. LK and repeated the process with him. I was able to narrow it down to 5 images that I took with me to the florist. And then it was her problem. I showed her what inspired us, must haves, can’t stands, and our desired budget, and let her run with it. She really got our vision and made it come to life.
