I really like the first option, I think that it suits your e-ring really well.  Honestly I think the only reason why it looks overpowering is because of the picture itself, I think in person the e-ring would sit higher and naturally stand out more.  I’d love to see another picture of it from an angle, but even as it’s shown I still like it best. : )

I do like the curved diamond band though, it doesn’t have the black diamonds you were wanting but I think it really compliments your e-ring in a very elegant way.

@ChellFish22:  My ring is the same way, it sticks out just enough that a straight band doesn’t sit flush against it. I originally was going to get a straight band because I don’t mind the way the gap looks when I’ve seen it on so many people here in pictures, but when I tried it on in person I didn’t like it. The first picture that I put in my previous post is very similar to the wedding band that I ended up with, except that mine is only one row of diamonds, and the other row is plain gold. I tried on every curved band in town before I found the one I truly loved.  I really do like the one you are wearing in the first picture in post #32, and the first picture I posted in post #28 (although I may be biased as it is similar to my ring, haha) but I’d like to see it on your hand to make a decision.

Here’s a picture of my ring with the similar band if that helps:

It needs to be sized up (which is why it’s on my pinky, lol) but it sit the best next to my e-ring. I also tried on one similar to the one you are wearing, and another one that had alternating round and baguette diamonds that had a similar shaped curve (and were all in a close/reasonable price range.)

From what I can tell, you really want the black diamonds, so even though the ring in #32 looks beautiful with your e-ring, maybe you should go and try on the other band or see if the jewelry store could customize it with alternating black diamonds? That way you get the best of both worlds. 🙂

Good luck and I’d love to know what you decide on! Wink

Totally the curved band in comment #32…

The others don’t look ‘right’ to me aesthetically.

I think the curved diamond band you just posted is perfect with your ring! It compliments it yet doesnt take away from the beauty of your engagement ring! Maybe you could get a band with black diaminds as a right hand ring someday? Or even buy one to wear when you dont feel like wearing your engagement ring/wedding band set? Just a thought! Good luck, I know what ever you pick will be beautiful!

i´m usally a fan of non matching wedding bands…and i think this one (although very VERY different from your e ring) COMPLEMENTS IT quite nicely bringing about its own personality.

@ChellFish22:  Nope, not at all! Mine is a comfort band, though, whatever that meanas. The diaonds only go halfway around and it took a little bit tog et used to because I was just used to the plain shank of my e-ring but after about a day it was fine. I dont even notice it at all anymore. Here is a picture of how far my diamonds go. If you are looking at my ring head on, it looks like they go all the way around, so thats a plus!
