If I have to pick a brand, Dr. Bronner’s, though I generally make my own soap/cleaning products (yep, I make soap, cold-pressed, with the lye and everything).

Vinegar!  It is cheap and about as “healthy” as you can get- also baking soda!!

I’m really a big fan of 7th Generation right now. We have their dishsoap, general cleaning formula, bathroom cleaner, and cleaning wipes. I just bought their dishwashing packs today, but I’m looking forward to having a phosphate-free formula!

We’ve also purchased some things by Green Works (owned by Clorox, I think) but it doesn’t seem like their formulas are as earth-friendly as 7th Generation.

Im a fan of making my own! Vinegar! and if you dont like the smell put a few orange peels in for a few weeks and it will smell like oranges!

I make ALL of my own cleaning products other than dish soap (havent figured that one out yet) But laundry soap, dish soap, sprays They are easy to make Natural and so much easier on the budget!

Would anyone be willing to share their cleaning product recipes? We’re a 7th Generation household, and I would love to reduce our costs.

The website Crunchy Betty has a ton of cleaning recipes, too (as well as a lot of beauty recipes). I’m kind of obsessed with her site since finding it a few months ago.
