Natural nails with shellac. I don’t get my nails done often but with Christmas and all the cooking/dishes I wanted something that’ll last 😊

I love to do my nails myself. To me it’s very therapeutic and I’m super picky lol. When I’m between manicures and want something nice but quick, I go for the natural look but with some Christian Dior’s nail glo. Goes on clear and dries quick but literally brings life to your nails. It’s made with fluorescent brightners so when you are in the light or outside you look like you have very healthy natural nails. The difference from just my bare nails with 2 coats of this polish is unbelievable ☺️

My natural nails are thin and peely. I do try to keep them clean n polished.  I can grow them with gel polish but honestly I am very hard on my hands with my lifestyle so short is best. I envy those of you with long nail beds!

Everyone’s nails are gorgeous! I love neutral, mid length squared nails the most.

Photo isn’t the best but these are my natural nails in desperate need of being shaped and repainted.

Not sure if anyone is interested but I’ve been using a CND sticky base coat, either OPI Nail Lacquer with Orly Sec n’ Dry or the Essie Gel Couture system.  They’re my favorite polishes. I want to try OPI’s gel infused system too the Infinite Shine2 I think it’s called.

I’ve struggled to find good polish system that isnt super damaging to my natural nails while I let them grow.

I get mine done every two weeks as well. I do dip powder. I just changed the shape this past time as I usually have coffin.

I always wear polish because my nail beds are super wonky and short after years of nail biting. I go back and forth between regular polish and DIY gel. For gel I mostly use either gelish or Gelaze, but I want to try some of those seaweed biogels! I keep mine on the shorter side and try for a somewhat rounded shape as I think it makes my hands look a little less masculine.
