tattiibee : I usually have enough time to get to a bathroom… maybe like, 15-45 seconds between the initial feeling that it’ll happen, and actually thowing up.
I have been VERY lucky that I have always been at home (or at someone’s home) when it happens, though. Thank goodness! I work at a daycare and it’s just not in the cards to go to the bathroom when you need to. I was very quick to tell my doctor I needed diclectin, just for work safety purposes.

MsPlucky : I know! I didn’t know it was a thing but after it happened my friend told me she had it as well and I goggled and found it’s common during pregnancies…argh… it was awful, cause afterwards I’d have to brush my teeth again (usually happened in the morning before work…).

I think nausea started about 6 weeks and then ended around 18 weeks. It was terrible, like having the stomach flu… most of the time I could make it to a restroom, but after getting sick on a plane I kept a few extra airsickness bags in my purse just in case. Nothing helped except for zofran. But once it was gone, it was gone for the rest of my pregnancy! Hang in there!

tattiibee : mine started around 7w and ended at about 19-20w? Lol sorry! It got “better” around 18w but had off moments for a few more weeks.
I didn’t puke, maybe only 2-3 times but I had maaaajor food aversions that made me urge a lot. Nausea and the smell of everything made me FEEL like I was gonna puke but it didn’t get that far. I won’t lie, it sucked so hard. I basically survived on carbs, cheese, and ice cream during that time…. oh and fizzy water with a splash of juice helped.

For me it was really bad from week 5 to week 15, then by week 20 it was gone! 🙂

They have drugs for what I had now. I was sick from 4 weeks to 16 weeks pretty much without pause. I was going to university full time and working part time. I’m still not sure how I survived. Either puking my guts up or feeling like I was going to puke all day every day.

Mine has just started at 6 weeks. It I started really mild though, like a vague feeling of car sickness lurking there. Really hoping it doesn’t get any worse than this!

I would say mine hit probably two or three weeks ago. I haven’t thrown up…just feel like I am doing to. I hear it gets better in the second trimester so am waiting for that in a couple weeks.

It hit me at 5 weeks and just felt like a hangover. It got bad at week 7 but at week 8 the heartburn hit. I was bedridden and couldn’t eat ANYTHING without setting it off. It was honestly traumatizing how sick I was. Now I’m at 9 weeks and back to just nausea and I couldn’t be happier.

I guess I’m just weird. I had mild nausea and a lot of food aversions until about 12 weeks, but never threw up and never felt super nauseous. Then I hit 12 weeks a few days ago and SO MUCH throwing up. I’m dying. Was complaining about it to my mom today and she told me that with two of her three kids she had the exact same thing – vomiting that started just before she hit her second trimester. Except hers lasted until 7 months. Really hoping that’s not what I’m facing.
