I’m sorry I don’t have any suggestions for you, but I just wanted to tell you you’re hair is AMAZING! I would kill for waves like that!

Your hair is gorgeous!  Whatever you did for your E-pics, I would do for your ceremony.  I don’t see any frizz or flyaways in these photos – I think it looks perfect!

Have you tried DevaCurl products before? The line is uh-may-zing!  They have a gel called “An-gel” which is a light hold and one called “ArcAn-gel” which is a strong hold…best thing…neither gives you the dreaded crunchy curls!

I think your waves would look gorgeous on the wedding day! i would love to have relaxed waves like that.

i’m going through the same thing, i have literal ringlets and i’m not sure i really want that but i still want to look like myself. and anyone who knows me knows me for my curls. it’s a tough one. I vote just go with your natural hair! and try using Garnier anti frizz serum, it’s AWESOME. and smells delish. oh and here’s my pain in the butt hair..only thing in my hair in this picture is the serum and a little bit of hairspray (Got2B glued)

I use moroccan oil to tame my frizz.

I agree with PP that your hair looks amazing in these pictures and I would not change anything!  Maybe just keep a couple extra products nearby incase the frizz comes on later in the day!

Stunning hair!

@MissCurlyQ: My hair is somewhere between yours and the OP in curliness and I used the got2B glued products for my wedding by the beach and they really worked to keep frizz away. I have the volumizing hair spray and mouse as well as the actual hair glue.

I find the hair glue to be my go to product when I know I will be in a situation with humidity or wind as it really holds all day and then some. Just don’t use too much! Practice before the big day to see what gets you the best curl (comb, brush, wet, sry, etc.).

I love your hair! I use the pantene curly shampoo/ conditioner and hair spray. It works wonders and no frizzies:)

Buy the Curlygirl Handbook and use the DeVa Curl line. Give yourself an entire month without using any hair products that have ingredients ending in “one”. You have to quit cold turkey on the “one” products. Trust me, you will see an amazing difference in the health of your hair, and frizz will be a thing of the past. The picture below is from a 90+ degree, high mid-Atlantic humidity day. All i did was condition my hair as usual and use a bit of AnGel. No frizz whatsoever. just perfectly defined waves and curls.

Agree w prev. post RE the curly curl method. I researched it & tried if after years of fighting my very curly / big/ frizzy hair (think Felicity!) . Although your waves are just gorgeous!! I would LOVE to have your hair!! Smile ANyway, after just a few weeks of CG method, my hair was soo much better behaved– and now I use much less of ANY product & my hair is soft, less frizzy… Even in rainy/humid FL weather. I def. recommend looking into the curly girl method and finding what works right for you. The regimen I found worked for me is super cheap, much less than I used to pay for Brocato & Morrocan Oil salon products…

I would use the mizani product line….its design for curly hair. It geared towards ethic hair but anyone can use it that has unrulely curly or wavy hair! I use it and it keeps them nice, soft, and frizz free!

here is an informational site on it!

I also subscribe to the curly girl method 🙂  I recommend reading up on naturallycurly.com in addition to the book.  No silicones, sulfates, conditioner washing (no poo) or low poo can do wonders for our wavy/curly hair!  Many wavies actually turn their waves into curls!

@soon2beMrsGP: Exactly!! Where was this my whole life, I have been asking myself!!  (‘cones, sulfates, and ‘poo free since 1/1/11)  Naturallycurly is a great website to find other curlies & ideas! I randomly stumbled upon this site & the CG way, and man, wish I had like  20 years ago!! Smile
