itll be fine.  My ladies wore dark navy, and the guys wore black tuxes with black vests and black ties.  Here are the MoH and Bridesmaid or Best Man

My girls are wearing “Marine” from DB and the guys are going to wear black tuxes with black ties and vests, I think it’s going to look great! The groom will be wearing a white tie and white vest. My flowers are going to be light pink, white and fuschia.

I would definitely go with black, it’s a classic look.

Last July I was a navy dress wearing Maid/Matron of Honor, where the guys wore black tuxes. The bride chose light colored flowers and it brightened everything up nicely! I always like when the grooms wear white (matching the bride), maybe thats just me. But if your girls are in navy the groomsmen should maybe match them, and the groom can pull in the yellow into his tie? My fiance recently had to wear a pink tie for his brother’s wedding and lets just say all the guys were less than thrilled with that haha, but navy and pink stripped would be nice too ๐Ÿ™‚

Good luck with your color coordination! You have lots of nice options!

i think navy and black work. the only wedding ive been in (back in 98 when i was a kid) was like that and it matched. i think the bright color flowers will really pop on the darker attire.

Black tuxes!  The guys are wearing navy vests and pocket squares and the girls are wearing black shoes to pull it all together.

Black tuxes for sure!  (Unless you want a casual feel, then khaki suits).

Thank goodness I’m not the only one having this issue (far from it, it seems!). I chose navy for my BM’s, not thinking that it might clash with black. I never had a problem with it, but my Fiance has very strong opinions AGAINST navy and black. He has been a good sport about it though, and now with seeing all you other ladies who’ve also chosen this combination, I feel much better about it. I think it looks great!
