I’d tell myself to finish my Masters post grad and not drop out

I can’t be bothered going back to finish it now 😂

I’d tell myself not to invest a load of money in a company that went bust, and pay it off the mortgage instead. Could be so close to mortgage-free if I’d done that.

cc33ammy :  That it’s possible for an eye to be too smoky lol, I cringe at my pictures from back then. Although those toilet paper stalking skills would come in handy right now, I’d sneak out in the dead of night and rustle me up a few rolls yeehaw!

Oh god! How much time do you have?!

-Do not date felons

-Do not get thrown out of bars

-Do not do cocaine

-Save your freaking money

-If a man holds you down on his bed and doesn’t let you leave because he’s under the influence of every substance imaginable, LEAVE!!!!

-Do not date men who are so insecure in themselves that they only feel better by bringing you down with them.

The list truly goes on!!

And the “do not date felons” one…no judgment at all, I dated ones who hadn’t learned any lessons !

(RE: Friends & Family)

Invest your time, love, and attention on those that also will invest their time, love, and attention on you. At that time I was painfully loyal to a number of people without realizing they were literally sucking the joy out of my life.

I’m going to break the rules a bit because my 5 years younger self really got her shit together and my present self is really proud of her for that.

But I would tell my 10 years younger self to not marry him.   Work on yourself mentally, physically and emotionally.

And surround yourself with good people.  Dump the toxic friendships and family members.

I’d tell my younger self that you are strong and doing the best you can. Don’t be so hard on yourself and stress on the little things in life that eventually won’t matter!

(I’m my own worst critic, and had self esteem issues in the past. Thankfully I’m much stronger now and in a better place!)
