I think for the right person, right event they would be okay, but in general they look a little bit young to me.

It depends on what their dresses look like. It is simple but, I think it’s pretty and could work depending on the dress.

that’s super cute! i don’t think it’s too simple..but it might depend on what kind of dresses they will wear?

Can you post a pic of the dress so we have an idea?

Don’t worry, I can’t seem to make a good decision about the wedding right now either.  I keep changing my mind on the invites I’m making and it’s about to drive me crazy batty!

Hard to tell without the dress…

Hmmm…what about stringing the pearls without the ribbon woven in between, but keeping the ribbon ties? And maybe using a colored ribbon rather than white? IMO, the dresses are more elegant, and the ribbon woven between the pearls is more whimsical.

I would suggest threading the pearls on a purple ribbon and keep the tie(ends) long, so there is a trail of matching purple color down the back of the neck.  It would draw the eye upwards and tie in the whole outfit.

i like it as is, but a purple ribbon might be nice too.  i like lassroyale’s suggestion of keeping the tie ends long down the back! it’ll be pretty whichever way you go, don’t overwhelm yourself!

I like the idea of a colored ribbon for this necklace.

I think it could work-I like the suggestions other bees have given about colored ribbon.

I know on a prior post you said your Bridesmaid or Best Man was allergic to metal, why not just string a whole strand of pearls and use ribbon ties on the back? Or, can you put the ribbon through the beads? I think if you want to make them like you have it, the ribbon should be a little tighter to the beads. And I might use a ribbon thinner than the beads, rather than thicker. That way the ribbon is more of a background than a focal point. Why not a lighter lavender than the dresses so that it’s not bold like the black one you showed before, but more colorful than the white.

Just thinking out loud here. But I love the idea! Really cool! Good luck!
