I would add a third strand of pearls. Very pretty DIY necklace.

You did a great job! I would go ahead and add the third strand though, to help balance it out a little. I think it’s going to go fantastically with your dress! I don’t think the third strand would be too close to the neckline, since right at the neckline it’s simple (but beautiful :D) pleating/ruching.

Very pretty!  I think a third strand would look nice… but it isn’t necessary.  I hope you’ll post a how-to in the DIY section.  I’d love to make something similar!

Out of curiosity, have you tried wearing it around for a while?  I love that style of necklace, but I always wondered if it would constantly be shifting so the brooch was in the front (because of the weight) instead of to the side.

You did a great job on that necklace! I would add the third strand. I don’t think that it’s going to be too close to the neckline of the dress based on the pics you posted. You’re dress is gorgeous too!

I think it’s enough, if you add the 3rd strain, that would be too heavy and seems too much details on your neck. Necklace is only an accessory in your whole look, don’t make the necklace be the key point on your body.

I think a third strand would look great, but if it comes out to be too heavy… don’t sweat it because it looks fabulous as it is. Great work!
