I am wearing a simple pearl necklace and matching earrings.  My dress has a sweetheart neckline and for some reason I feel like it will make me feel more covered up…weird, I know but I feel like something needs to be there.

I’ve always gone by – 3 pieces of jewelry at most.  If you’ve got earrings, a bracelet and your ring – you’re good.  I vote no necklace.

I chose the simple necklace option, but honestly it depends on your dress design & neckline. My dress will have one shoulder strap, so I’m just going with stud earrings and maybe a bracelet.

I was going to skip a necklace and then my mother offered her diamond solitaire as my something borrowed and I think it will be perfect – it is very dainty and will not compete with my dress.

@neontl: I only wore simple pearl earrings and my mom’s pearl necklace. Personally, too much jewelry takes away from the dress and makes things look too busy. The eye doesn’t know where it wants to land because it has too much to look at.

I’m going to wear something simple because my dress has a fair amount of details. That said, your look could be awesome sans necklace. If that’s what you’re feeling, go for it. 🙂

I’m not wearing a necklace…just because I think they always look funny on me…like I’m too cluttered or something. I wish I could pull off a statement necklace, though.
