When I went looking for gowns, I went immediately to The Gown Shop in Ann Arbor, best in the area.  She carried only a handful of designers, and this was one of them.  I think its the style you are looking for.  I’m not sure of the price, but mayeb if you look on line or ebay or oncewed, you could search under this manufacturers name?

Good luck, I love the 50s motif.

they have so many styles at different price ranges and sizes.  The dress is really great quality and I loved every minute I had it on!

There are tons of really gorgeous 50’s vintage dresses in this etsy store and for great prices!

I haven’t got the time to go through all of them to see if there’s anything similar but you might find something!

Here are a few that caught my eye:

You’re probably looking for something white…but this dress is rather glamourous!

More bridal-looking ones…this one is closest to the pic you posted.

You could have “something blue” at your rehearsal dinner too! Haha

If you want the real look and feel of the era, I would suggestion trying to go real vintage dress rather than a new one made in China. And remember to post an update, I love seeing everyone in vintage 🙂

Some places to start looking:

Vintage stores

Craigslist

Goodwill

Local community hospital charity shops (sometimes these are the best places)

Salvation Army

Ebay

Etsy

Local antique stores

FYI, the shop that we’re all talking about in the huge “gold mine” thread (the one with 600+ posts) has dozens of dresses from that Fancy company (Dress Me Fancy). The company sent them a couple racks of samples to sell to raise money for programs for women and children at the YWCA in Lynchburg, VA (they ship).  A bunch of Bees have bought wedding dresses from them already. 🙂

I think they’ll fit within your budget, too.  I think the pricess are $150-350 for these.  You can contact the manager, Michelle at [email protected] or through their blog: http://churchstreetbridal.blogspot.com/

A few examples…these are just my candid shots from watching their photo shoot:

A few of the professional pictures:

There are many more…if you email what you are looking for and the size you want, they can often send you a picture of dresses that fit.

Actually after doing more googling, I realized the dress you posted is not vintage but it’s a vintage-styled dress called Beverlywood by Dolly Couture which is still available on their website. It’s twice your budget though (but you probably already knew all these).

Since it wasn’t real vintage, you could check out used wedding dresses online…I searched and saw 3 of that dress already sold on Oncewed.com.

There were some ads for that dress in weddingbee classifieds as well, but from a year ago.

Lastly, you could try Church Street Bridal as suggested by Jeannine! Since it’s an actual brand, you could check if they have it.
