@jpalm13:  I’m not getting married in 40 days, but I am going to Hawaii, and I’d like to lose another 5 lbs before I go. I leave May 16th. I’m 5’6″ and currently 135ish. I started at 150 back in December and it’s taken me this long to get to 135, so it’ll be an act of god if I lose 5 more lbs by then. But I’m trying. Feel free to message me if you want to have someone to be held acountable to or something. Good luck 🙂

Start weight training, while you may not lose more weight, you will definitely tone and tighten up which will help you lose inches.

@jpalm13:  I also second lifting. If you do high rep/low weight you’ll tone but not bulk. Thats what I do, and I love it. You’ll lose inches and have some tone. Most of my lifts are 3 sets of 20 reps. High rep/low weight also burns a lot of calories just because it’s a lot more cardio. Just so you know. I normally lift 2-3 times a week and do cardio 3 times a week.

@jpalm13:  You’re seamstress obviously knows very little about lifting. Women have a very hard time bulking up, lifting will actually slim you down. As @NotablySidedJP said, doing high reps and lower weight will give you the results your looking for without additional dieting.
