Hi Bee’s we are after a confetti alternative. I don’t like bubbles i think they are over rated, not keen on ribbon wands either. I like the thought of being showered with something.
Our wedding is on the beach so it needs to be cleaned up easily, and not cause any damage.
Any and all suggestions would be fantastic!!! 🙂

Hopefully this will help you. ^_^
I would offer balloons being lifted up as your walk past everyone but it won’t be showering you so I got lost. xD

Bird seed?? Or wait….maybe you’d get swarmed with birds?

There was something on Pinterest I saw about rainbow sprinkles, the type you use for baking?

what about white rose petals?

Don’t use birdseed as it can create problems with the birds in the area.
If you are having the wedding on a public beach have you asked the local council what is allowed because littering laws may prevent you from having anything and you don’t want to get a fine on your wedding day or have local laws shut you down.

We used dried lavender for our toss

How about tiny starfish? I saw them used as confetti at a medical conference I recently attended.

Bubbles! Ok, I’m a kid at heart, but I know some people actually do this! If we were having a send off it would be what I’d do :).

I have seen “organic” confetti that is in different colors. Google it! 🙂

I’m considering using pompoms-but don’t know if they’ll let you use them on the beach?

It’s biodegradeable and disolves in water =)

I vote flower petals of some type. Pretty, and biodegradable.
If you want to use birdseed, please trial it first! At most aussie beaches, seagulls swarm for anything. I’ve no idea if they’ll swarm for birdseed or not, but you’d want to check beforehand.

@winterbride1593: lmao thats what the other half said when i suggested it. or even worse bird poop! lol
@j_jaye: That unfortuantely was my FI’s idea also lol
@HelleCat: Sounds like a great idea i’ll look it up 🙂
@paula1248: That would be my worst nightmare! swarming seagulls :/ My Fiance works in landfill and hates them.
@Bridedownunder: I think they would look awesome, but i doubt my guests would want to clean up after our send off.
