Fiance and I have a dance lesson scheduled for tomorrow, and I want to have our song picked out before then so that our time is used well. The only time Fiance and I have to talk between now and then is his lunch today. Originally I gave this job to him, but last night we had an argument about how I didn’t like any of the songs he picked, or I didn’t LOVE them, and he didn’t know he was supposed to keep looking, and now I just feel like a bitch for making him feel like he disappointed me.
The problem is that I’m REALLY picky. I wanted a waltz song, because I love the way a waltz dance looks, but they’re REALLY hard to find, especially since I also want a modern song and lyrics that fit US. As a writer and English major and teacher, I overthink lyrics until one wrong line disqualifies a song. I’m not the kind of person who is obsessed with music and knows a lot of songs either. I don’t want a song I’ve never heard of or that NONE of my guests will know.
I don’t know how the bees can help. Do you know of any resources that could help me find a song and know what kind of beat it is to dance to? I’ve already exhausted http://www.quickstartbooks.com/Firstdance.htm.
