I want to come to your wedding, and I want to be seated next to your mom.

keikochan :  lol… Your mum sounds like my mother in law. English is her second language and she often says stuff by accident.

When that song ‘gangnam style’ was everywhere she mistakenly heard it as ‘gangbang style’ without realising what a gangbang was. My Mother-In-Law was mortified when we told her what a gangbang was and that the song was ‘gangnam style’ not ‘gangbang style’!!

The worse part is Psy was touring in my country and on TV everywhere and my Mother-In-Law had a few conversations with her work colleagues about the song and Psy before we corrected her. She was going around work calling it gangbang style!!! Lucky HR wasn’t called in 😂🤣😂

English is my first language, and I have messed up more than once to be sure.

Mackelmore had a song out at one time with the line “the ceiling can’t hold us.”  I had heard the song several times on the radio, but one day I asked my daughter “what the heck is a ceiling can holder?”

When she was done laughing at me and told me what the line actually was, I had a good laugh as well.  She mentioned to me the other day that she asked her DJ to play the “ceiling can holder song” for her mom at the reception.

………..along with one of my other favorite songs “Crap Along” by Pharrell….yup, I thought he was saying crap, not clap.

My ex Father-In-Law spent his childhood  saying ‘Our Father who  art in heaven,  Harold  be Thy name”

No prizes for  guessing his own  name .

keikochan : I don’t like showers, but if I got an invite to a bisexual shower, my RSVP would be FedEx’d back to her! 🤣
