I don’t know what to tell you other than I’m sorry for your loss and to do what you think is right.  Your heart will tell you the right thing.

My sympathies go to you… that is so hard. I think your ideas are great and it’s wonderful that you want to do something in her memory. i’m sorry i don’t have any other suggestions, i’m feeling tired and drained myself this evening.

I really like the idea of the candle with her picture on it. Is there anything she was really excited about that you could include in the wedding ? Like a favorite song, favorite flower, or something like that ? It could even be a particular hairstyle that she wore alot and you could have your BMs wear too.. I am so very sorry this has happened.. God Bless you !

I am so sorry for your loss.  This is a very difficult situation to be in: you need to find a way to express your love for your friend, yet you also need to celebrate the day of your wedding.  Look at the type of relationship you had with your friend.  Was it more light-hearted and you joked around a lot?  Was your relationship sweeter?  Reflect that to your guests.  I think the candle lit for her is a beautiful idea.  Maybe you can have something with your program.  I also like the idea of maybe releasing balloons (or doves, or something like that…I’m thinking in the moment here) in her honor maybe after the ceremony.  Mention in the program what the released items are for, so your guests can join you in a touching moment.  Take peace in knowing her love will be with you on your special day, and beyond.  🙂
