Is there anywhere I can find a printable music checklist from preceremony to the bride and groom’s last dance? I want to make sure I’m not missing anything. The other day I realized I hadn’t given ANY thought to a song for cake cutting. Now I’m questioning what other important songs that I need for the wedding.

Hmmmm lets see…
Background music as guests enter
Song for mothers entrance
song for groomsmen/grooms entrance
Song for bridesmaids
Unity candle/sand/ any other ceremony music
Background music at reception during cocktail hour
Music for announcement/entrance of bridal party
Father daughter dance
Any other family dances (bride child, groom mom etc)
dollar dance (very controversial- depends on if you like the idea or not)
Cake cutting song
Married couples song (ask all married couples to the floor, the DJ calls out 1 year 3 years 5 years, and couples who haven’t been married that long sit down. the couple married the longest gives the bride and groom a piece of advice on who to stay together)
Background music when food is served/cake is served
Music to exit to
I think thats most of the major ones that I’ve seen. Honestly if you have a good DJ, even if you don’t have a specific song for something, they’ll play something appropriate.

Okay thank you! I don’t really care what he plays pre-ceremony or during dinner or cocktail hr as long as it’s appropriate. I hadn’t thought about the married couples’ song… I guess I could play “Save the Best for Last” by Vanessa Williams like my aunt has been begging me to throw in somewhere… And no, I refuse to do the dollar dance!
