I’m a Blackberry fan, but my husband has the HTC Hero with a touch keyboard.  He loves it and I hate it.  I can’t type on it at all with my nails, so I don’t think I’ll ever be a touch screen girl.  I like Sprint overall for its coverage and service.

I have the Motorola Droid (1) and I love it! It takes some getting used to, but I am stuck on Droid now! If you want the keyboard, I would recommend the Moto2 (only one with the manual keyboard that you listed). Fiance works for verizon and says learning to touch text is not too bad! He recommends the Fascinate.

Blackberry fan here too, but I might be upgrading to the EVO real soon.  I also really like Sprint.  They have been the easiest to work with and have really nice coverage plans at great prices.  I have had all the companies and you will have a hard time getting me away from Sprint.

Fiance has the HTC Droid and loves it. I can’t figure it out at all. I’m addicted to my iPhone. The original Motorola Droid had a pull out keyboard, not sure if the newer versions still do. My friend has that phone and is obsessed with it.

I have an HTC Droid Eris. I love Google, I want to like this phone, but the operating system is “clunky”. It lags and is slow to respond.

My fiance has an iPhone, it’s much sleeker in operation. Between the two, I would choose iPhone hands-down, expect one of us needs to have a phone that works when we go visit my parents in the middle of nowhere, so I’m stuck with Verizon and they don’t have iPhones yet.

Neither of those has a “real” keyboard though.

I just got the Droid X a few weeks ago.  I LOVE THIS PHONE!!  I did some comparison research online and I went to try out the phones and hold them in the store, and I chose the Droid X.  It has a massive, beautiful screen, 8.5 megapixel camera, HD video, and so far I don’t find the battery life to be too horrible.

P.S. If you are used to keeping your phone in your pocket, this this is probably too big for you.  My uncle was debating getting the Droid X or Droid Incredible.  He ended up choosing the Incredible because he said the X didn’t fit in his pocket as well.

I have a Droid, it’s an LG Ally…it reminds me so much of my Envy only it’s the best phone ever 😉 it’s touchscreen, full internet, tons of apps (I guess all that is standard with a Droid though) and mine has a slide out keyboard which I adore

I have the Droid II, and I think you’d be happy with any of these phones, but I personally would go with the Incredible. The Droid X is like, half the size of my iPad, I can’t imagine being happy with the size of it.
