The UD original Naked Palette and the Too Faced Chocolate Palette are my favorites.

I would recommend the Lorac Pro or Lorac Pro 2, a good mix of matte and shimmers. They can be purchased at Kohl’s or at Ulta. Sephora no longer carries Lorac.

I can recommend two by Chanel:

#232 Tisse Venitien–this has two gorgeous shades of teal, silver and a pinkish neutral.  I love this quad so much because my eyes are the exact color of the greens.

#208–Tisse Gabrielle–  Three interesting shades of brown/bronze and a neutral. Not so basic browns/bronze. A really nice must-have for me.

Big shout out to Anastasia Beverly Hills- Self Made palette- I actually really love that palette- it’s wonderful. I use it WAY more than I thought I ever would. It’s great.

Loracs new nuetral is AMAZING- the shadows are so butter smooth.

I hear Two Face’s chocolate bar 1 and 3 are great (2 seemed to be lackluster)

Honestly- I have 3 z palettes full mostly make up geek- some NYX and a smattering of MAC- but I use a TON of Make up Geek- inexpensive- small buisness made in house- and they are  wonderful products. Love love love them.

I chose the Naked 2 Palette because I felt it worked best with my skintone. I really liked the neutral colors because I don’t wear any bright colors for eyeshadows. I also really enjoy the Naked Basics because they don’t have any shimmer to them

I have all the Nakeds, a couple Vice palettes (including the new LTD one, which I love), the Spectrum (also amazing), the brights, and the Smoked from UD, and the palette I find myself reaching for most is Lorac’s Unzipped (the original, not the Gold, though I have that one, too). There’s a lot less fallout than UD’s shadows, the colors are richly pigmented, and the formulation is super smooth and doesn’t crease. The mattes are perfect for daily wear and the shimmer pigments are a) less shimmery than those in the Naked palettes, and b) look amazing foiled (applied with a wet brush).
