- Wedding: November 2013
I need to lose about 35 lbs. I had been dieting and doing well last fall, but after getting engaged in November, combined with the stress of classes ending and some rather big christmas plans, I completely fell off the wagon and gained most of what I had lost back.
A couple of weeks ago, I picked my wedding dress out, which was happy but also depressing, because I was exploding out of the top with my giant fat boobs (lol).
Anyway, my bridesmaid sister, Future Mother-In-Law, and I decided to start a FATTY CHALLENGE, as we like to call them. I am pretty good at maintaining my weight, I just need to lose these lbs and keep them off for good. My Fiance has been calling it my “change for life challenge” which has a nice double meaning, because that’s exactly what I need.
Anyway, I’ve read that people are way more likely to lose weight if they have to log and share publicly what they’ve eaten each day, and how much they exercised. We need a way to keep eachother accountable for our progress, and basically I’m looking for a website that we can do it on.
My Future Mother-In-Law and I use Nike+ to track our runs, but my sister doesn’t run due to health problems. Plus that doesn’t work for meals and stuff. I just looked at Sparkpeople, and it seems a little too complicated for food logging (I eat slow carb and don’t know how many calories are in the food I’m eating).
Does anybody know a good website where we could look at and comment on eachother’s profiles and progress? I’m starting to think I will have to make my own, which is going to mean hours of programming that I don’t have time for. 🙁
