Hi Everyone This is my first post here. Im needing some advice. March 18th at 12 weeks pregnant I had began to have a miscarriage. March 21st I had a d & c . I had an appointment 2 weeks after and the doctor said everything was sounding good and didnt order a blood test to check hcg levels. april 11th i did a Hpt and it was faint posititve did another 2 between the 12th-14th got clear positives. Last one i did was the 15th and it was faint positive again. So now i need advice is it left over or could i be pregnant again already?
Thanks in advance!

@brycee: I am so sorry about your loss. I miscarried on February 24th naturally at 6 weeks. 9 days later I had an ultrasound and my uterus was confirmed empty, I took an HPT a few days later and it was negative – I did this because I wanted to make sure the MC was over and I could expect my period in the next few weeks. On March 19 I took an HPT because I was feeling strange. Long story short, ends up I got pregnant again 2 weeks after my MC. My doctor said that it’s common to ovulate 2 weeks after a miscarriage. I am now 7 1/2 weeks.
I had a huge thread on this just a few weeks ago so I’ve included it here because I think this might be helpful to you. It explains everything I went through to determine whether it was leftover HCG or a new pregnancy because I was very confused as well.
Good luck to you.

First of all, I am so sorry for your loss. I think you should get back to your doctor and have your HCG levels checked ASAP. If you had miscarried naturally then your HCG levels could take a while to get back to normal but since you had a D&C almost 4 weeks ago, I wouldn’t think that you would have any residual HCG left from your MC. It sounds to me like you may be PG again, but you definitely need to call your dr to see what’s going on. GL!!

@BearyLovely: I checked out your post at well. definately similar situation. Thanks for the advice and Congrats to you!!! Makes me hopefully that it was happen again for me!!
@MrsMonty11: Thanks for the reply. Thats what i thought as well. I thought if i had a d &c everything would go back to normal right away compared to if it happened naturally. I will call the doctor thanks 🙂
