how tattooed are you?

i have a huge feather on my wrist, and it’s sooo awful to cover up. i’m a makeup artist, and it takes literally almost 2 hours to be covered

Why not just get a dress with sleeves? Makeup that will inevitably rub off on other people as they hug you seems like a realy bad idea.

@crayfish:  I agree, I think makeup on your arms is a bad idea, especially since they sound like big tats, find a dress with fun sleeves, like Kate Middleton did!

@crayfish:  just b.c someone has a tattoo doesn’t mean they should be banned to sleeves. there are plently of options you can do. your makeup artist who is doing ur makeup the day of should have an option to do cover ups with tattoos i know mine does but i have one on my back that says she flies with her own wings and has two wings and im not covering that up! (:

I dont know if you are having someone do you make up but you could ask them about weather they would be able to cover them up also

I agree about asking your makeup artist (if you are having one). I don’t have visible tattoos but  Ido have scars (from my microdermal piercings and from my PICC line). I am really self consvious so my makeup artist is coverig my scars. She used a base of Dermablend and then lightly went over it w/ the airbrush and it was great. A little heavy up close on my PICC line scar but flawless in the photo I snapped to show my mom.

@anissa.taylor:  i saw a great seller on etsy who makes long sleeve boleros, they’re super cute and they have lining under the lace to cover tattoos. its skin coloured lining.

i am fully tattooed on both arms and i am wearing a cute red cardigan.

I don’t think you should cover up your tats.  Obviously you got them for a reason and everyone who knows you probably knows you have the tatoos.  Plus, you don’t want your arm makeup coming off on people giving you hugs.  I would just wear a cardigan- there are some really cute ones out there and it would be a great pop of color against your wedding dress.

I’ve heard Dermablend covers and the setting powder prevents rubbing off. I’m going to test it out before my August wedding and report back.
