I really need some advice on buying bridesmaid dresses online! We are trying to avoid David’s Bridal if possible, but it might be our only option, considering my BMs are all over the place, and all different sizes.
Has anyone used the site: http://www.shopjoielle.com ??
It looks like a good site and I love the chiffon dresses from Landra Designs. I also love the Alfred Sung dresses and know they are nice because I’ve seen other bridesmaids in them. It’s just so hard to make a desicion without seeing it in person.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!!!

Welcome to the boards! I feel your pain. All my BMs were all over the place too. I picked the dress. They each tried it on at stores by them. Then I ordered all of them via Pearl’s Place. I called them. They had the cheapest deals. So I basically did all the “shopping”, trying on, and such at actual stores. Then I called up Pearl’s Place and asked what price they could give me. I told them the cheapest i could find it for, and they gave me a cheaper price! It was awesome. Then they sent them all to me. I wrote about my process here! http://www.weddingbee.com/2010/05/06/bridesmaid-dresses-9/

I am also having the same issue because all my bridesmaid are in all different cities and states (NC, PA, NY & GA). I am having 4 and they are all so different from size, shapes and complextion. So I just told the ladies to find their own dress as long as it’s long, black and elegant. I asked each bride to allow me to see the dress before they buy and so far so good. Only 1 bride didn’t like the idea of buying a dress online, however, 2 of the brides are allowing me to help them find a dress since I am a norn bargain betty, lol. Now I hear stories about shipping from other brides when using an online shop. So just make sure you alot enough time for the dress to come in and resize if it needs it. Good luck.
