Definitely lose the arch. Maybe a sheer pipe and drape with lighting? To bring in a lil pizzazzzz…

We also needed a centerpiece for our space, so I went out and bought a console table from Craigslist and used tons of cylinder vases and candles to add some sparkle.

I’m waiting on pro pictures, so no pictures of the finished product, but it was gorgeous! I collected the cylinder vases in all sizes for months from thrift stores, Ross and similar stores, so it was quite affordable. Got most of my candles from IKEA where they are super cheap.

You could do a curtain of silk flowers to cover the whole wall. You don’t have to start from scratch. You can  purchase a couple of beaded curtains, then hot glue silk blossoms to the strands. I know you said you can’t attach anything to the walls or celing but you could use command hooks on the walls- they do not damage any surface- or you could buy the little clips that go over the bars on the suspended celing and hang the curtains from those.

you could do a more elaborate floral curtain and center it behind the area where the ceremony will occur

you could place a piece of furniture to serve both as an altar and as a backdrop

a low dresser, console etc can be rented or bring your own

you could ask the hotel for  riser- the officiant, and the bride and groom  would stand on this elevated area- your guests have a better view-add a couple of tall potted plants

Great Wedding Decorations Ideas

this idea also uses risers, and adds ferns and paper lanterns- you could tone it down a little using one riser and only two ferns

I thought of you when i saw this pic last night. This is just a curtain of ribbons. You could do the same over a pipe supported by two poles inserted into patio umbrella stands. I love the simple 6″x6″ posts instead of pillars.
