Mine doesn’t match my engagement ring. I’m Jewish, so I wanted to follow tradition and have an uncut ring (the lower price was also nice!). My wedding band is just a simple, plain white gold band.

But you can go as fancy or simple as you like.

Mine does not match either. Totally different diamonds, but I like them anyways!

Mine will match. We had purchased one that we thought would match, but when we went to get it sized, it didn’t line up right with my ering, so we exchanged it for a custom made one that will sit nicely up against it.

In answer to your question about matching though, it doesn’t have to match. It is totally up to you. If you want to be traditional and wear it next to your ering after you are married, you will want something that at least sits nicely up against your ering and also looks nice next to it.

like artbee, i’m going to follow the jewish tradition of having a plain unadorned band. the only thing about it that will “match” my e-ring is the same metal. i haven’t bought one yet but i’ve tried a couple on and i like how it looks together…two totally different looking rings but it works.

Another one who went with the Jewish tradition of having a plain unadorned band.  And since we didn’t even have e-rings, we didn’t have to work on matching.

For my first marriage, I had a diamond solitaire in white gold, and had a white gold wedding ring.  The two rings matched in thickness and material, but there were no stones in the wedding ring (same Jewish tradition).

Mine were purchased separately but wedding band is the one from the designer that “matches.”
