I’ve had two hair trials and I still don’t know how I want my hair on my wedding day. The problem is my hair will not hold a curl. Can anyone recommend any styles for stubborn straight hair? I would appreciate images since I have difficulty visualizing. Thank you in advance.

Do you definitely want your hair down? I think braids can look incredible and look at Blake Lively for braid inspiration (she has done so many different styles). You could also consider a sleek style like the picture below or add a fancy hairpiece/ headband.

If you want curls or waves, have you thought about extensions? They don’t necessarily have to be to add much length, but the extra thickness can give your natural hair something to blend into that can curl easier. I have friends who do this occasionally when they want to wear loose curls because they also have thin, fine hair.

rivasj09 : If your hair is stubbornly straight then you may want to go for an updo that holds it all in place. Also, hair accessories tend to add something special as well. A low bun is always a classic and beautiful look. There are a ton of variations on it too, you could go for more sleek like this one:
or softer and romantic:

Thank you so much, everyone, for your response. I’m leaning towards my hair being half up, but I am open to suggestions. I’m wearing a mantilla veil at the top of my head, and do want a style that compliments it.
I never thought about getting extensions, I’ll look into it.
If anyone else has advice, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you again.
