Hi bees! I have been doing some brainstorming and I wondered if anyone on the bee would be able to offer some advice. Here’s the situation:
I was born and raised Catholic (Dad was catholic, Mom anglican). We went to church every Sunday, I received the sacriments, all that business. When life got busy I stopped attending. Recently I have started going back to church, but have been attending an ANGLICAN church because I have felt more comfortable there.
Anyways, Fiance is not baptized but identifies as Christian (mostly meaning he believes in Jesus and God and basically everything I do, but his parents didn’t baptize him).
Another “strike” so to speak is that we live together.
The minister we’re meeting with knows none of this. Am I ridiculous to expect she’ll agree to marry us? What kinds of things should I say at our meeting?? Ack!
