So I found the perfect dress after buying the wrong one to begin with. It’s a beautiful dress but we went from an old Hollywood theme to an outdoor wedding, and it’s not as fitting. The dress is a Mori Lee by Madeline Gardner. A sales consultant at a bridal shop told me that designer will actually takes dresses back for a restocking fee, but I can’t even find contact info to see if that’s true. Does anyone know about this? Otherwise, does anyone have suggestions on how to sell a dress? I posted once on CL and didn’t get a single response. I posted on here but the ad isn’t posting. Advice? Thanks!!

Other than CL I would suggest Kijiji, eBay and there’s also a website for pre-used wedding items. I can’t recall the name, but other posters may remember it, or a Google search might dig it up. Even though you haven’t worn your dress down the aisle, I think you can still post it on there.

I would try listing on:
tradesy.com (which used to be Recycled Bride, since the merger I’ve found the new site really difficult to navigate but it’s worth a shot)
There are also stores that take a commission to sell your dress, like nearlynewlywed.com and hustleyourbustle.com
