(Closed) Need advice- Tulle garland

I haven’t made poms out of tulle, but I did the same thing with tissue paper and with fabric for a class fashion project last year. It worked pretty well but they didn’t get as round as I wanted. Maybe tulle would be the right fabric for that kind of shape though.

I think it would look gorgeous in a barn! I actually think it would beautiful anywhere remotely rustic/country (:

I would love to have something like this for our wedding, but I’d buy it off of etsy instead since I found that I got sick of making them for the fashion project ahah 😉

Yes I made them two different ways the second way was much quicker and easier simililar to what you posted. Go into my DIY

I made 1 tulle pom using black & pink tulle. I just didn’t like how they looked.

I used the method of 2 circles with holes in each, wrapping it around the circles and then cutting it around the edges [between the circles]. It was very easy, took about 3 minutes.

You don’t need to use double sided paper, just double up if you want decor on both sides. I used music sheets as it is double sided. Can get a book of it at the thrift store for cheap. Yes I think cardstock would be a bit thick.
