Did you already pay for the postcard STDs?  You can get 100 of them from Vistaprint for $6.54.  For my STD cards I just used the regular $.44 wedding ring stamps when I mailed them, I didn’t know much about the postcard stamps at the time.

For my RSVP cards I just went with the polar bear stamp because they are only $.28 and it was the only ones the post office offered.  I tried looking for stamps that you can customize (like Zazzle) but all of them cost extra to customize them and I just don’t think it’s worth it.  I used the wedding ring stamps for the outside of the invitations anyway so that was enough for me.  Also, the total cost of the stamps for me was about $50 and I only spent $40 on the invitations themselves.

At 100 save the dates, it’s a $16 difference between buying the wedding related stamps (44 cents) and buying the polar bear stamps (28 cents).  When you think of the amount of money you’re spending on the entire wedding, $16 is not that much.  I would just spend the 16 bucks and go w/ the wedding stamps.

I would either get the wedding ring stamps for 44 cents or just go with the polar bear stamps.  Either way $44 bucks sounds much better than $100 and $28 sounds even better than the $44 but decide how important the stamp portion is to you.

Oh yeah, my bad that was for regular postage on an envelope, not postcards!
