aaliyah :  I really think it would look beautiful. Remind me did your finger size? That can play a role too. I think its beautiful. You need to make a collage with the two side by side, and put it in a drawer for a day and pull the pic with the two rings on it and which ever one really draws your love and attention, which ever grabs your immediate attention. They really are both super beautiful. And yes the only down fall, and I do mean only, to a large over powering giant diamond is the damn price LOL.

I actually have the James Allen falling edge halo setting and love it. When you look at it straight on only one row of the halo shows but when you look from the side you can see the other row. The band and halo have really small diamonds so the setting is not as over the top as some other halo options I have seen.  But they are both beautiful – good luck with the choice!

aaliyah :  no problem! Below are some additional pics from different angles. My phone isn’t great for capturing all the details but I tried!

I have a size 7.75 finger and the center diamond is 2.75 ct. I think there were several options available for the metal and we went with platinum.

aaliyah :  I had my ring size wrong which was our fault when ordering from James Allen by not getting a proper sizing done at a jeweler, so the ring was originally more than a full size too large and when I got it resized some of the pave diamonds did come out. But a jeweler was able to replace the stones that fell out for a modest price and I have not had any issues since then with stones coming out (about 2 years). They did warn us that resizing rings with pave settings can cause stones to fall out so my advice is make sure you order the correct size and you probably won’t have any issues. I agree on the finger coverage, we went with a larger center stone due to my somewhat huge hands but smaller fingers wouldn’t need that size stone for similar coverage look ๐Ÿ™‚
