Not sure how clever it is but how about a frame like this?

@mrsginmay:  Maybe put in an engagement phot (if you take any), then replace it later when u get your wedding photos?

How about if you make a photobook with pictures of you and your fiance throughout your relationship and let guests just sign around the pictures in the book – yearbook style?  That way they can write as little or as much as they want…. and depending on how much white space you leave, it won’t look so sparce like those corny guestbooks they sell at Michaels where only the first few pages are ever used.

You can always buy a cheap globe from Amazon or any teacher supply store. They’re easy to take apart, so you can spray paint the stand to your wedding colors or in gold/silver to make it look a bit fancier. Then your guests can sign their names on the globe. This idea works best for wedding with a travel theme, but it’s just a thought.

Find antique shops in your area with reasonable pricing. You could buy an old chest that people could sign their names on and leave cards or notes inside. Or you can wander around and see if anything strikes you as being a creative option.

I painted a tree and had people sign it! It’s beautiful by itself, and the signatures give it a special meaning.

What about a DIY Munny? It doesn’t have to be the big one like below, you can probably use a regular sized one with 13 guests.

There’s a bunch to choose from on Kid Robot.

@mrsginmay: Perfect! I thought it was a really great way to make something beautiful and personal.
