Ok, not going to lie, the reasonable price thing is out the window…but i LOVE LOVE LOVE Vaccaro’s italian cookies, but they’re sold by the pound, so you can easily blow your budget out of the water quickly.  We were going to get our cookies from Bakery Express in Halethorpe.  The cookies are amazingly wonderful and reasonably priced, but then we decided against it because our wedding is out of state and we would have to get them super early in the week.

You should look into this place:

Their bakery is small but awesome.  I got my cupcakes from their bakery for my wedding and they were fantastic- everyone was talking about them.  So I am sure that their cookies would be great too.   Don’t be put off by the gluten-free thing – believe me- you will never know the difference.  And their web-site is not at all representative of all that they have to offer, so it is worth it to go in person.  It is a little shop, but they were very helpful and very good when I had things made for my wedding.

I have a thing for the snickerdoodles and white chocolate macadamia nut cookies from Sam’s Club. You can’t get much cheaper than that. 🙂

I second Vacarros, but they are on the expensive side. My sister did a dessert bar and got some from Vacarros. I think she also went to Woodlea bakery. I think they got berger cookies from Lexington market.
