My first of two showers (I’m so spoiled!!) is coming up THIS SATURDAY!!! I can’t believe it’s already here, time has flown by! But, I need a little beauty advice.
1) I am scheduled for an airbrush tan tomorrow evening (Tuesday). My aesthetician swears it isn’t too early to get a spray tan on Tuesday evening for a Saturday event if I’m careful with my skin for the four days between. I also did some googling, and read that the ‘ideal’ day to get a spray tan for a Saturday event is Wednesday night, so I guess its not terribly far off. Do you think I’ll be ok?? I’ve done airbrush before (only in the bed, this time it will be by hand by a professional) and I plan to exfoliate and shave before, not wear makeup, lotions or deodorants to my session, not shower right after, wear loose clothing, etc etc. Since I work at the gym that’s attached to this spa, I get a sweet discount on the tan and this is the only time she could schedule me for, do you figure 4 days after the spray tan I’ll still be looking nice?
2) Since I’m getting a spray tan, I’m going to go out and buy new face makeup – I’m already good for my liquid foundation (love Neutrogena Healthy Skin), but I’m wondering what powder I should get to set the makeup? (Looking for a drugstore brand here). I don’t need anything that has a lot of coverage, so I read a translucent loose powder would be best. Some googling shows good reviews for Bare Minerals or Loreal’s Translucide. Anyone have any other suggestions? I’m currently using Neutrogena Healthy Skin pressed powder on top of the liquid, but I think it is just too cakey-looking and should probably only be used alone.
Thanks a ton!!
