@OUgal0004:  we hired a cellist and guitarits ($600) for 1 hour

they played a variety of songs as guests came in

The processional for the wedding party (parents, BM & GM) we chose “Across the Universe” by The Beatles

When I walked down they played “Can’t help falling in Love” by Elvis

the recessional was “Yellow” by Coldplay

@OUgal0004:  We found a local university acapella choir and hired them for $500!  What a steal!  they were fantastic and learned songs for us.  These were our songs:

Prelude:  “You Make My Dreams” (Hall and Oates Version)

Seating of Parents/Grandparents:  “Ordinary Day” (Vanessa Carrolton Version)

Bridal Party Entrance:  “Dog Days are Over” (Florence and the Machine Version.  This isn’t at our wedding, and they didn’t wear those awful outfits! Ha!  But you can hear our fabulous choir sing this song here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nY805M2NOGQ )

Bridal Entrance:”All I Want is You” (U2 Version)

Vows:  “May I Suggest” (Red Molly Version.  I had never heard this song before planning our wedding.  It is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard.  You can hear a live version here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4E_tho7E0WQ )

Recessional:  “You Can’t Hurry Love” (Phil Collins Version)

Have fun choosing your music! 🙂  Good luck!
