One of the outfits I wore for my boudior shoot was that I stole my SO’s favorite button down shirt (it happens to be a flannel one) and wore that unbuttoned with a black bra and panty set underneath. He thought those were some of the sexiest photos I took because it involved him and I really put thought into it.

This is really going to depend on what you feel sexy in. If you don’t normally wear lingerie and don’t plan on wearing it anytime soon why not find a dress you feel sexy in or swinging sweater with your cutest boy shorts. Boudoir doesn’t  equal lingerie. It is all about feeling sexy.

I’m all about sexy lingerie for Boudoir.  I mean, you can wear your man’s boxers any day of the week but lingerie is glamorous and special.  I would recommend getting a 3 piece set (push up bra, thong, garter belt).  You can find more classy sets from Elle Macpherson Intimates, Gossard, Lise Charmel, Aubade, or even Victoria’s Secret.  But if you want to go for the more ultra sexy, borderline trashy look, then you can try Fredericks of Hollywood or Spurst.com.  Spurst.com has some really sexy stuff that is very inexpensive.  I’ve actually found all of my outfits on ebay.  I just search for Victoria’s Secret or whatever brand, in my size, new with tags.  There are a ton of cute Victoria’s Secret outfits on ebay that you can’t find in stores or online anywhere else.   Try searching “Victoria’s Secret Sexy Little Things”.  There are a ton of boudoir outfits out there!!

If you want some advice on from a photographer who has done boudoir for wedding clients – the guys always like the lingerie look way more than the favorite team or bridal thing.  If you get three looks I’d do them all lingerie, and pick three different styles/colors.

I have that babydoll so that’s what I voted for. I think it’s prettier and more feminine than the first one.

I think if you’re not a lingerie person, you’ll be WAY more comfortable/natural in the babydoll!

Honestly, go try lingerie on. That’s what I did and I’m so glad for it because I’d never worn any before and had no clue what would look good.
