I have an adorable set of kissing angels that I want to use as my cake topper. My parents used kissing angels on their wedding cake, and my uncle and aunt did too, although the pair they both used got broken. 🙁 BUT I was able to find a similar pair on Ebay. They look something like this (except mine have white glittery wings! Oh, this isn’t my Pinterest either….they just look similar! LOL):
So, I need a fall wedding cake for them to sit on. I thought it would be cute to make a cake with a white fluffy frosting, so it looks like a cloud. But I’m worried the white color of the angels will clash with the white on the cake. Maybe have just the top tier to look like a cloud? Or am I making it too literal?
Maybe have some edible glitter/confetti, or even just some silk fall leaves or flowers in a circle around them, to break up the color?
Any other suggestions?
