I love it, actually. The white is very cool and modern, and all that glass and sunlight keeps the room feeling airy. I think fresh greenery on the tables would provide a nice summery pop of color.

What a lovely venue! You could have your sister in a champagne colored dress? 🙂

If you only have one bridesmaid, what colour would look most flattering on her? Blush, champagne, pale green (in a cool sagey tone), greige/light taupe and dove grey would all look lovely with black and ivory.

If you go for blush you can tie that in with the flowers, same with the pale green (dusty miller, silver brunia and lambs ear would look gorgeous)

My sister got married in June outside by the lake. The wedding party was in black – I personally like it.

I think blush would look very neutral and not detract from the ivory and black, at least IMO. Or a champagne/goldish color. I think theres even hints of pink in some of the pictures you posted? You could do most things in ivory and black, and add little splashes of pink or that light goldish color in there (a couple of flowers in the centerpieces, your sisters dress, etc). The flames in the pictures almost give off a pinky glow, so I think it would look nice.

Dress ideas:

If it’s just your sister up there, depending on your dress you could do one of those full sequin gowns for her maybe?

Champane or blush would be pretty but I know someone who did ivory and black for their wedding colors and it was super classy and in August. With your venue it would work perfectly!

I did black and ivory and had silver accents. I used silver bowls for the Ivory floral with a mixed glass and silver candle holders. I had ivory table cloths and napkins with black tulle overlays. My decor was very eclectic but it worked really well. In the floral arrangements I added crystal bead stems and black bead stems to give them a bit of pop. I didn’t  get any pictures of decor (long story) but I had tons of compliments on my decor. My girls wore black so finding dresses was super easy, cheap and they looked great plus they loved them and have worn them several times since.

I’m doing an ivory, black and silver colour theme for my wedding in May. Originally I was planning on doing green but just couldn’t find any shades that i liked. I decided to do black bridesmaids dresses and thought about doing green accents but I went with silver because I feel like its going to be classy and elegant. I think this colour scheme can work year round and with your venue it will look amazing!
