You know tux shops have ivory shirts that can match the color of your dress. Especially if you go with the Tux place your dress shop recommends. If you still aren’t sure about it matching you can always bring a swatch of the fabric color in to match that.

ETA: I missed that part about you not liking ivory with grey. I would recommend trying it just to see. If you don’t like it then have then wear white! My only concern is it would make your dress look less white. If you are okay with that then there is no problem with white shirts and grey tuxes.

I say go for the white shirts, you want to stand out on your wedding day!!!! I dont think it will clash because thier shirts are not going to be standing out too much, the suits the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses and mostly YOUR dress will be standing out!

especially if your dress is very ivory and not almost white because your dress doesnt have to match the shirts and this will they will be very different instead of almost the same but not

I work in high end mens wear and formal wear. When we dress a bridal party we only put the men in white shirts. We don’t even stock ivory mainly because it can look “dirty” in photographs. There is nothing like a crisp white formal shirt no matter the color of the suit or tux!Laughing
