I made candle holders out of 10.5″ cylinder vases, using vellum paper. These are going to be used at my reception to honor our deceased relatives. I like them set up in a “V” fashion… but don’t know what to do from there for decor. I was debating maybe having a couple long stem roses in front of the sign? But what color?
I had to use the reverse side of beach towels to simulate a white table cloth! So I know it’s not exact.. but hope it gives you an idea of how it will look set up. Since the cylinders will have lit candles in them during the reception, I was steering away from votives scattered on the table. But I’m open to any suggestions!

I think keep it simple. I like the rose idea. Maybe red, yellow. or something from your wedding colors? I think less is more here …

I think it looks great as is. Simple and dignified. You don’t want too much going on, as it will take away from the candles (great job, by the way) and the serenity. You could do more if it was just for one person (at my memorial table, just for my dad, I got a memorial vase, and my bouquet will go in the vase), but I think that since you have so many, less is more.
EDIT: The post above mine wasn’t there when I opened this thread. So you have 2 people at the same time saying less is more 🙂
