I am working on our RSVP cards that should have been done last week so that I can get my invites out this weekend. WELL, my printer was having issues so I couldn’t. Well, my current problem is that I am trying to make them with a little bit of both of us in them. Does that make sense? Does it sound dumb? Anyhow, I made this layout which I quite like, and asked for his thoughts. He said, “Eh, if you like, it. I mean, I don’t really care.” Bugged me, irritated me, whatever, I’m over it. On to moving on.
This is the layout I made. What do you think about it? The wording, font, layout, everything? It’s a backyard wedding and carne asada bbq. I’m so excited!!!
(just noticed the date typo, so that’ll be gone. =) )

either take out “the” so it reads September 12, 2009
change it to “the 12th of September 2009

I personally don’t love the look of the second line. Do you think you’ll have an issue with people over-rsvping? Also, on the first like “Please Join Us in Celebrating”…celebrating what? I would write “Please join us to Celebrate” or Please Join Us in Celebrating Our Marriage” or something similar. Love the fonts!
As far as the Fiance goes, pick your battles. If he doesn’t care, don’t sweat it. It’s not worth a fight. They’ll be great!

I agree with KateMW about “in celebrating,” you need something after that or just use “celebrate” or the English teacher in me freaks out. 🙂
I assume you’re going to write in the number of guests in the blank. Everything else is fine but the anal English teacher in me (I have a lot of different English teachers in me) would make the words “accepts” and “declines” lower case, there’s no reason for them to be upper case.
Also, remember you don’t have to use British spelling. Maybe since it’s a backyard wedding it’s a little more informal and you use American spelling. It’s something not many will notice I’m sure lol. (honor, favor) It’s really up to you, who cares
I like it!
