The 1st one!!!

Definitely dress #1.  That first picture of you in that dress is stunning – it’s flattering and you look at ease, it in, where I think you look sort of "sucked in" and uncomfortable in the second dress.

But more importantly, don’t let anyone try to coerce into getting the dress that THEY think is better! Go with your gut… deep down, I bet you have a preference of one over the other, but you just haven’t been able to verbalize it yet.  Make a list – one column all of the pros of dress one, and then of all of the pros of dress 2.  Only look at the pros of each, and don’t feel compelled to make them equal.  This might help you realize which one you like the best.

I like the 2nd one better (the style of the dress), but I think they both look great on you, so I would go for the one that is $1000 less.  I don’t think you can look at them and say "Wow this one is more expensive."  By the way, which is the more expensive one???

I agree with the comment that if you like both equally, it might make sense to choose the least expensive one. That will give you more $ to play with and to spend on other items. However, if I were picking, I would agree that both are gorgeous and flattering, but that you look more comfortable in dress #1. Either way, you’ll make a great choice! Good luck!

My personal pick is #1 – I really think it looks amazing on you and #2 to me is just ok.  But the bigger reason is that you look so much more comfortable  and happy in it!

I also vote for #1.  You look amazing in it!  I may be a bit biased though since I was an Augusta Jones bride.

I don’t know if this will make sense, but here goes…

When I look at the pictures of Dress #2, I think, "That is a beautiful dress!!!"  BUT, when I look at the pictures of Dress #1, I think, "That is a beautiful bride!!!"  For me, Dress #1 pulls the whole package together, so I’d pick that one.

Still, it’s important to pick the one you are comfortable with!  If everyone who’s seen it in person likes dress #2 the best, then maybe the pictures aren’t doing it justice…

Something else to think about…

The second dress has a lot of beading, which could accidently be mesed up some when it gets cleaned. By mess up I mean you may be missing a few beads, then you would have to sew some other ones on or live with missing a few beads.

The first one is very simple and you wouldnt have that problem 🙂

p.s. I like the first one the best. I think if you like the sparkle of the second one you can still achieve that look with the first with the right accessories!

The first one was my first choice and then I scrolled down your blog and saw the boots and solidified my choice for number 1! While both dresses are nice, I feel like the first one goes better, style wise, with the boots and if the boots are so you then you should pick dress number 1. Good luck.

Ok… I am heading to your blog…. (click clickity click…) Hour glass turning…

I am so glad you like it! It is like the best of both dress #1 (the waiste accentuates and flatters you so well!) and #2(with the lil bit of design in key areas- the bust and a bit on the sides!)- but also uniquely different! Love it!
