I think if you’re going for a princessy look, it’s perfect.  I think your figure shows nicely, which isn’t always the case with ballgowns on smaller women (like in the other pictures).  Try it with something less poofy to see if you like it better, that might be what’s throwing you off.  I love it though!

I think it’s beautiful!!!!  Stop worrying and looking at other dresses on other girls.  What might fit them doesn’t fit your style!  You will be stunning!

I think it looks great. The train looks a bit weird to me with the poofiness, but maybe I just haven’t seen enough poofy dresses with trains.

You’re lucky to not have a strapless dress. Figuring out what to wear underneath mine has been driving me crazy! Also, mine is form-fitting through the hips and it’s causing me a LOT of anxiety. You have a such a tiny waist, it looks great in that dress.

Why are you freaking out? Who cares if it’s not trendy, or strapless, or modern? It’s a classic looking gown. There’s a reason why classic clothing is still around. They’re timeless, simple, elegant, and they’ll last far past the newest trend.

It definitely says princess bride, and that’s what you wanted. Stop thinking about other people and what they might think about it. Focus back on what you want. Is it still the princess bride gown for you? Do you dislike the straps? It looks like you would be able to alter it into a strapless if that was what you really wanted. You look much better, and much more comfortable in this dress, than any of the trendier dresses you tried on. Ultimately, on your wedding day, you’re going to forget about everyone else except for that man standing at the other end of the aisle. He’s there waiting for you, and he’s looking right back at you in awe because you are the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen and you’re finally getting married.

And you live happily ever after 😉

Honestly, I think you should be less concerned with what other people think/expect and just go with what you want.  It’s YOUR wedding, after all!  Who cares about trends?  If you want to look like a princess, go for a ball gown – it’s as simple as that!

It doesn’t sound like you hate your dress in any way – it just sounds like you are scared people will dislike it.  While I understand it’s a common fear, you shouldn’t really consider it – besides, the people at your wedding will mostly be your friends and family that love you, so they will think you look beautiful.

If YOU fell great in it, and it is what you wanted…. don’t sweat it!

I know how you feel.. I look at other brides and think– I wish my dress had more X,Y or Z to get that wow factor, but only YOU know how you feel when you put it on and confidence is the BEST accessory!

It looks gorgeous! I love it, it looks amazing on you! I like it with the poof personally, but I do think that your crinoline looks like the bottom is gettind a bit squished from the back, so maybe another crinoline that would stay a bit more fluffed out at bottom?

I love it. The only thing i would change is a less structured crinoline with a train extension so the train doesn’t drop off from the poof suddely. More gradual deecline to the ground

I like #1 and #6.  I think that you have the body to wear a mermaid, tight modern gown.  But then again, it is what you like best and what you feel most beautiful in.

I like #2 best, the one you picked you kind of disappear under all the fabric. JMO though

I’m generally not a fan of the way bustles look, but your dress looks like it was made to be bustled and danced in.  It’s just gorgeous.
